Role of the Catalyst
The cells of the body cannot function correctly without trace elements
in their correct form. Cells that do not function correctly eventually
degenerate which results in disease. The catalytic application of
trace elements guarantees their absorption at cellular level.
A catalyst allows an action in the cell to take place in less time
and with less energy. The catalyst does not change. It stays the
same. Therefore the action of these trace elements does not override
the action of any part of the function of the cell it is there to
remove blockages and to activate a function.
The following is a summary of the role of catalytic trace elements
on the health of the body. :

Ionisation
To be a catalyst the trace elements must be separated from each
other, therefore they have to be ionised. This is a very precise
science and Laboratoires Bioligo employs the best Swiss biochemists
for this purpose. If this process is not carried out correctly the
trace elements will bind together as is the case with colloidal
minerals. If they are bound together, the chances of their efficient
absorption into the cells will be reduced.
Dynamisation
The Bioligo trace elements are dynamised. This is a patented procedure
whereby the energy of each trace element is increased, which also
means that it is not necessary to use large amounts of trace elements
– which can be toxic and dangerous - for them to be effective.
It is the quality rather than quantity that is important.

The Significance of Identifying the Background
Condition - Diathesis
The complexes take into consideration and address the requirements
of the background condition of the individual (see research history).
This means that not everyone with the same condition will respond
to the same trace elements. Equally, not everyone with the same
condition will respond to exactly the same natural remedies. The
background condition helps to identify ‘what invited the illness
in to the body'. This is vitally important for the success of any
natural remedy procedure and will determine the priority and route
of treatment.
Many natural remedies fail clinical and medical trials because
the parameters used for trials in pharmacology are not appropriate
for natural products. A prime example is that of essential oil of
lavender. Several years ago a university undertook clinical trials
on the effectiveness of lavender as a relaxant and had inconclusive
results. Any well qualified clinical aromatherapist will tell you
that lavender, whilst universally being accepted as a relaxant,
can stimulate some people – depending on their background
condition at the time.
Sublingual
Assimilation of trace elements means the metabolising at the innermost
level of the human body; incorporating the active substances in
specific active sites inside the body’s cells. To do this
the trace elements have to cross many barriers. The form in which
the Bioligo trace elements are presented allows them to be absorbed
under the tongue where there is a particularly rich network of blood
capillaries close to the mucous membranes where they are able to
enter the transport networks, the blood and lymph.
